There was a day Iโll never forget - not because anything dramatic happened, but because of what I now see beneath it.
I drove my colleague, a senior union official, to the Office of the Industrial Relations Commission.
The building: Sixty Six Eagle Street, Brisbane. A fortress of institutional power dressed up as public service.
Union officials walk its halls. So do judges, lawyers, corporate heavyweights, and government reps.
Itโs all very official. Very respectable.
